“Jeff worked quickly and diligently on both his design work as well as the alignment of the team around vision and direction in a way that created a great basis of trust around him. As a colleague and as a friend, he is immediately responsive and does not hesitate to go out of his way to help. In his IC role, he collaborated exceptionally well with a variety of engineers and executive stakeholders alike, and also has a fantastic talent for internalizing a diverse set of viewpoints and advocating them in a manner that effects cooperation both between disparate roles horizontally as well as report chains unlike any I had seen before.

It thrills me that Jeff is designing interfaces for non-tech-natives like myself. His influence and talent will be a globally powerful force for one of the world's top tech companies."

105 Conversations is an interview series with thought leaders, discussing the greatest quandaries in education, technology, leadership, and innovation.
"The first 9 months of the 105 Conversations project were downright impossible. Having never interviewed anyone influential and with no background in videography, it was an insane proposition for Jeff to pursue. He loves human interaction, impossibility, and the thrill of the chase."
- Chase Baird, Professional Musician
"Jeff and I were tasked with the marketing and PR of the Tilt World iOS game. One of my favorite memories of working with Jeff was when he called the Senior Vice President of the DEMO Conference on his cell phone and pitched him to present the app onstage at the next DEMO Conference. How Jeff managed to get us accepted on the day of the deadline, without a pitch deck or any app screenshots is nothing shy of incredible. Tilt World became #1 on the App Store in China and #7 in the United States in the category of Kid’s Games, after the launch of the game."

"The landscape of buying, selling, and marketing a home has drastically changed, as the digital world now has a variety of solutions for realtors and brokers alike. As I was helping to expand Compass into Napa, I needed a digital expert who would deliver an elegant digital experience, nuancing the content by curating photography to embody luxury and lifestyle. By hiring Jeff, you get the UX/UI Design, vision and elegance to attract an elite clientele."

“I very much enjoyed working with Jeff during his four months at Pex, and found him to be a truly valuable asset to our team.
Jeff is a thoughtful, dedicated, and incredibly hard-working person. We will very much regret his presence as our company moves to LA, causing this premature end to our collaboration.
Along with his talent for making an extremely complex interface seem simple and easy-to-use, Jeff has always been an absolute joy to work with. He is a true team player, always fostering positive discussions and bringing the best out of other employees. I know that he will be a beneficial addition to any organization.
- Amadea Choplin, COO at Pex
The Core Wellness team tasked Jeff and a team of 2 other UX designers with creating a companion app to work with a hardware prototype called "Core" that measures irregularities in the human heartbeat. The app companion focused heavily on stress free onboarding of users and creating a way to measure overall progress of meditation habits. The final deliverables were wireframes.
"Recently, I was with Jeff when he was interviewed about the Apple retail experience. Having sold $1,000,000 of consumer electronics, he was able to eloquently discuss quality customer service, product availability, store design, app based transactions, interactions with senior citizens, and his visions for the future of retail. They invited him to another meeting that he can't talk about.

"I am grateful to Jeff Kell for his belief in the project from the very beginning, and for patiently and skillfully moving the taped together pages into a digital book format and website." He worked his magic with image and text and coordinated with vendors in several states. Jeff is warm, smart, engaging and an expert in all aspects of tech."

This project sought to rethink the frustrating process of finding a roommate. Liz was able select where she wanted to live and who she wanted to live with by marketing herself as the ideal roommate.
"I asked Jeff for help with my move from Berkeley to San Mateo. He went home that night and put this together from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m., launching it at 6 a.m. My current roommate found it 3 weeks later and I love where I live!”
Jeff loves sketchnoting, flying drones, wine tasting, and traveling in his free time. Pictured on the right are Jeff's notes from a class he took with Julia DeBari.
"Jeff has an unabashed charisma that makes him a joy to work with. He knows how to lift people up in a group and when to focus on working hard and smart. Whether he is working as an entrepreneur or a creative director, Jeff can fluidly move from a leader with out of the box of thinking to a team coordinator who organizes and accomplishes more than was asked of him. He is, and will be, an asset to any team he is on in any capacity."
Julia DeBari, Principal UX Designer
"Jeff loves to create and present stunningly beautiful presentations. When the first iPad was released, he told me it would change the game for sharing with other humans in a more intimate and tactile format. Since then, he's designed some visionary decks about a variety of topics from marketing to design and presented them at Anki, Dropcam, Netapp, N3TWORK, and many more."

Co-collaborated in a Book Swarm™, writing a book on authentic and agile narratives in the 21st Century with 50 other diverse storytellers in 12 hours.
"As we were curating a diverse audience to co-create a crowdsourced book on narrative, Jeff was an obvious candidate to participate as he has a compelling narrative, himself. His interview series, technology learning company for non-techies, and natural curiosity for cutting edge technology gave him a wonderful perspective."
- Tobin Trevarthen, Chief Narrative Officer, Spark PR
